Super, Shining S.T.A.R.S. is how volunteers are defined at A Chance To Grow and New Visions Academy .

The acronym means: Supporting, Tutoring, Assisting, Role-Modeling Students and clients at New Visions Academy and A Chance To Grow. The mission of the STARS program is to enhance the programs and services of A Chance To Grow and New Visions Academy.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE:

• Reading Buddy
• Student Tutor
• Classroom Helper
• Resource Desk
• Library Assistant
• Annual New Visions Academy Toy Drive
• Special Events
  • 14th Annual Golf Classic to be held Monday, July 26, 2004 at the Wilds Golf Club in Prior Lake, MN
  • Race for the Children fundraiser to be held Saturday, August 28, 2004 at Canterbury Park in Shakopee , MN
  • Walk & Roll - Time and date TBD
