Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School - Based

Join a collaborative team dedicated to helping students thrive while enjoying the support of an established pediatric therapy clinic. We're seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide hybrid (in-person and virtual) services, partnering with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Unlike many contract positions, you'll have access to clinical collaboration, mentorship, and professional development in a supportive environment that encourages innovation and growth. As our speech-language pathology team continues to expand, you'll also have the opportunity to mentor Clinical Fellows and develop your leadership skills. 

What Sets This Opportunity Apart
  • Dedicated documentation time built into your daily schedule
  • Up to $550 annually for CEU reimbursement
  • Employer-paid SMART and MNRI training
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary pediatric team including vision, auditory, occupational therapy, and neurofeedback departments
  • Clinical Fellowship opportunity to be mentored by a school-based SLP with over 10 years of experience (if appropriate for the candidate)
  • Opportunity to extend work to in-clinic during Summer months
  • No evenings or weekend hours

Position type: Full-Time, 9-10 month position

Pay range: $37.00 - $45.00/hour based on experience

Benefits: ACTG offers employer subsidized Medical, employer paid Life and AD&D, in addition to other benefits including PTO, Holiday Pay, Dental, and Vision. Company-provided laptop for work-related tasks.

Location: White Bear Lake, MN Charter School Placement. 

Description of responsibilities:
  • Provide speech-language evaluations, therapy, and consultation services to students in a school-based setting through a combination of in-person and virtual service delivery.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students' communication needs and educational goals in accordance with their IEPs.
  • Complete timely documentation, progress reports, Medicaid billing documentation, and other required school and agency documentation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other members of the educational team to support student success and ensure continuity of services.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed.
  • Support clinical quality, consistency of services, and collaboration within the speech-language pathology team.

Experience:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Required)
  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain (Required)
  • Experience providing pediatric speech and language therapy (Preferred)
  • Experience with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and/or early childhood populations (Preferred)
  • Prior experience in a K–12 school setting (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with online IEP systems (e.g., SpEd Forms, EdPlan) (Preferred)
