A Chance To Grow (ACTG) is a mission-driven, therapist-led non-profit based in Northeast Minneapolis. Since 1983, we've been empowering children and adults to reach their fullest potential through innovative, brain-based programs. Our dedicated team delivers life-changing services in the areas of therapy, education, and care – helping thousands of children with developmental disabilities, families and teen parents, educators, child care providers, and adults with special needs across the Twin Cities and beyond.

At our pediatric clinic, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. This role also offers the opportunity to develop leadership skills through mentoring and supporting Clinical Fellows as part of a growing speech therapy team.

Position type: Full-Time

Pay range: $41.00/hour, with Productivity-based Bonus Eligibility

Benefits: ACTG offers employer subsidized Medical, employer paid Life and AD&D, in addition to other benefits including PTO, Holiday Pay, Dental, and Vision to employees who work 30 or more hours per week. Company-provided laptop for work-related tasks.

Location: ACTG is located in a beautiful neighborhood in Northeast Minneapolis close to public transit and freeways, downtown, retail, restaurants, and walking trails. 

Description of responsibilities:
  • Provide speech and language evaluations and individualized treatment for pediatric clients in a clinic setting
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that support functional communication and developmental goals
  • Complete timely documentation, progress notes, and required reports
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care
  • Supervise and mentor Clinical Fellows (CFYs), including guidance on clinical skills, documentation, and professional development
  • Assist in supporting clinical quality, consistency of care, and team collaboration within the speech department
  • Participate in team meetings, care planning, and ongoing clinic initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with ethical, state, payer, and organizational standards

Experience:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Required)
  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain (Required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred for CFY supervision (Preferred)
  • Experience providing pediatric speech and language therapy (Preferred)
  • Experience with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and/or early childhood populations (Preferred)
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, or supporting Clinical Fellows or graduate students (Preferred)
  • Experience with multidisciplinary collaboration (Preferred)
  • Experience with electronic documentation systems (Preferred)
