⏱️ S.M.A.R.T. Time-Saving Tip: Three Colors, One Tracker! Make one tracker. Get three ways to practice! Instead of creating multiple Tactile Trackers and Visual Pursuits, use three different colors in one smooth design on a single sheet of construction paper. It’s a quick way to create variety while helping young learners understand that when the color changes, their job changes too. Try this simple sequence:
🔵 Color #1: Trace while covering the left eye. 🟢 Color #2: Trace while covering the right eye. 🟠 Color #3: Trace with both eyes open. EXPERT TIP: Young learners don’t need to start with one specific eye. Make it simple and say, “Now cover the other eye!” The goal is to get them practicing the different visual experiences—not worrying about which eye comes first. One piece of construction paper. Three colors. Three opportunities for purposeful visual practice. That’s a S.M.A.R.T. time saver! Reference: S.M.A.R.T. Pre-K CORE Activity Guide page 64 S.M.A.R.T. Curriculum Guide page 151
