I spent a lot of time at A Chance To Grow when I was a little girl. I loved Boost Up Camp and honestly thought neurofeedback was awesome because I got to watch movies. Vision Therapy though? Yeah… I definitely complained about that one. Not my favorite but I am so grateful my parents were patient and didn't give up on me. Back then, I had no idea how much all of it mattered. I was just a kid trying to get through hard things. What I didn’t see was how many people were showing up for me with a love and a passion for what they do… believing in me…and investing in a future when I couldn’t even imagine one for myself yet. There were seasons when I felt behind, frustrated, and unsure of who I was going to become. But little by little, this place helped me grow stronger, more confident, and more hopeful. Now I’m 22, and I’m living a life my younger self never thought was possible. I have opportunities, dreams, and a future that once felt completely out of reach. And the craziest, most amazing part? I feel so grateful that I am able to give back to the same place that once supported me during some of my toughest times! A Chance To Grow didn’t just teach me skills while helping me to calm my mind and body— it showed me that I mattered. It gave me hope when I had almost none. There are kids walking through those doors right now who feel just like I once did. Kids who don’t know yet how strong or capable they really are. And the truth is — stories like mine only happen when we all give from our heart, gifting hope and a future with life-changing possibility. Thank you to everyone who makes A Chance To Grow possible. Sincerely, Jayna P.
