Vision Services

See the world
Clearly & Efficiently

A Chance To Grow's Vision Clinic offers vision screenings and therapies to meet the whole family's eye care needs. Our experienced Optometrist and staff are dedicated to helping individuals obtain optimal vision through individualized therapies and custom treatment plans according to each client's needs. We emphasize vision's role in development and offer care beyond just a glasses prescription, including screenings to help detect early vision deficits in babies and children.
Our services include:
  • Vision exams for all individuals
  • Developmental and visual perceptual testing
  • Preventative eye care and disease management
  • Eye glass prescriptions
  • OptomEYES Vision Therapy

We strive to identify and correct vision-related learning problems for people of all ages to help them reach their full potential. Our integrated clinic and staff use innovative therapies to identify and treat vision problems early in order to facilitate you and your child's best possible development.
We believe vision is part of the whole person. We will provide recommendations for referrals and interventions for patients based on their specific needs and resources available. We welcome referrals from physicians, schools, and other caregivers, but referrals are not required to receive services.

What our clients say
"Our daughter had trouble copying words from the board and maintaining her focus. That started the rail of discovery that led us to ACTG. With the expertise of Dr. Moroz, we were able to determine that she had six different visual delays. Through your services, her vision has improved remarkably. For the first time in her life, she saw visual details that we didn't even know she was missing out on."

Frequently
ASked Questions

How do I know if Vision Therapy is the right way to go?
See our Symptoms Checklist to determine if Vision Therapy is right for you (or your child).
Is there scientific evidence that Vision Therapy works?
Yes! The amount of research supporting Vision Therapy is equivalent to research in other therapeutic fields, such as Physical and Occupational Therapy. Vision Therapy has also been shown to be more effective than other interventions for certain forms of strabismus and amblyopia. One recent and highly acknowledged study performed by Mayo Clinic showed the effectiveness of Vision Therapy for Convergence insufficiency. You can find more research on Vision Therapy at https://www.oepf.org/, covd.org, and noravisionrehab.org/patients-caregivers.
Can I be too old for Vision Therapy?
Children see the best results when undergoing Vision Therapy. However, it has been proven that motivated adults can get significant and meaningful improvements as well.
