S.M.A.R.T. Mentoring
We all know what it is like to attend a great workshop, feel energized and excited about what we learned, and then get back to the classroom and wonder if we are doing activities correctly or get caught up in the reality of how busy a classroom can be. This may mean, even with the best intentions, the program can suffer. This is why we offer a S.M.A.R.T. Mentoring Service. Our experience show sites that invest in S.M.A.R.T. Mentoring have stronger programs and achieve better results.
S.M.A.R.T. Mentors provide follow-up, on-site visits which continue on a regular basis. Those site visits include observation of the educator and students doing the S.M.A.R.T. program and S.M.A.R.T. team meetings at the conclusion of the visits, involving the administrators and educators. A written report is submitted by the mentor following each visit for the educators and administrators to reference between visits. The mentor is also available by phone or email, and will prepare necessary items prior to visits.

Experience shows that once schools complete a three-year mentoring model with educators trained in S.M.A.R.T., that those educators have the foundation to mentor new educators in the program and the school is able to continually operate the S.M.A.R.T. program.
We offer a 3-year plan for follow-up mentoring, which includes:
S.M.A.R.T. Mentoring visits can also be purchased on as needed basis. Schools are not required to follow a three-year plan. If you would like more information on the costs associated with S.M.A.R.T.
