​A Chance To Grow and the Minnesota Learning Resource Center's brain-based workshops and seminars are here to provide you with the skills to implement research-based developmental interventions into your - or your students - daily lives!  ​From helping children develop the readiness skills essential to classroom success or furthering your own professional development as an early childhood educator, our programs will provide participants with the stimulation they need to grow - physically, cognitively, and socially.

At a 3-day S.M.A.R.T. Workshop, you will:

  • Learn how the brain typically develops and what might interrupt that development 
  • Experience the S.M.A.R.T. activities, which are movement-based, fun for children and easily incorporated into the day 
  • Understand how to look at students developmentally 
  • Create the implementation tools you need to immediately start S.M.A.R.T. 
  • Become re-energized as educators and ready to create your own S.M.A.R.T. classrooms!​

Unless otherwise specified, all Minneapolis workshops are held at A Chance To Grow. Dates and locations are announced and updated regularly. Space is limited and participation is granted in order of registration receipt and payment. ​
