This interactive and energetic workshop is designed for early childhood educators, physical educators, paraprofessionals, assistants and aides. The S.M.A.R.T. Pre-K program is specifically designed to prepare 3 to 5-year-olds to learn through fun and age-appropriate activities.

​S.M.A.R.T. Pre-K activities develop and enhance children's large and fine motor skills, visual perception, eye-hand coordination and auditory skills, all necessary tools for learning to read and achieving academic success. 
Students who have not fully developed readiness skills often struggle with academics or behavior. Become a S.M.A.R.T. Teacher and transform your classroom into a playful atmosphere, mature your students brains and bodies, and help them reach their full academic potential. Ensure that purposeful movement is a part of your curriculum and provide your students with the multi-sensory stimulation they need to learn and grow.

​All S.M.A.R.T. Pre-K workshops are from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and provide 24 contact hours. S.M.A.R.T. Pre-K workshops count towards Parent Aware Certification. This 3-day workshop also includes the S.M.A.R.T. Pre-K CORE Program Guide and the S.M.A.R.T. Pre-K MORE Program Guide to help your students reach their full potential!

At a 3-Day S.M.A.R.T. WORKSHOP, YOU WILL:

Workshop Details

  • All S.M.A.R.T. Workshops are 24 contact hours.
  • Workshops are held Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • School Principal Rate: $330
  • Standard Rate: $490
  • Early-Bird Rate: $465 (deadline is two weeks prior to the Monday before the Workshop)​

Unless otherwise specified, all Minneapolis workshops are held at A Chance To Grow. Dates and locations are announced and updated regularly. Space is limited and participation is granted in order of registration receipt and payment.
