Program Assistant at Turnquist

A Chance To Grow is hiring a Full-Time Program Assistant to join our Turnquist child care team. 

Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

Responsibilities:
  • Front office organization 
  • Decoration and care of entry spaces 
  • Greeting families and children as they come to school 
  • Receive and direct phone calls and walk-ins
  • Coordinate food service program 
  • Closing MOD
  • Filling in classrooms when teachers are absent

Requirements:
  • Skills in office organization
  • Computer usage
  • Passion for working with young children
  • Rule 3 Teacher qualified (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to take on teacher role in absence of the lead teacher

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with diverse backgrounds
  • Skilled in excel and google spreadsheets

Occupational Therapist (School-Based)

A Chance To Grow is hiring a Occupational Therapist to join our contract school-based team. We are hiring an OT to work in elementary charter schools in Hennepin and Isanti county areas for immediate start and following the same schools into the 22-23 school year. Both have established OT caseloads. This includes performing evaluations, consultations, and treatment sessions.

Schedule:
  • .75 (potential to increase to 1.0)
  • 1 day a week at an elementary school in St. Paul
  • 2 days a week at an elementary Montessori in Elk River
 
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited program – New grads welcome!
  • COTA’s welcome!
  • Minnesota Department of Health Licensure or Temp license upon hire
  • Ability to adapt, mold, and create new and customized programing to meet each individual clients need
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Results-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Working for ACTG offers:

Our Home-Based Services program seeks Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide direct support to meet the health and safety needs of special need individuals in the home and in the community. Early morning, afternoon, evening and weekend hours are often available.​

Qualified applicants must be 18 years or older and have experience working with special need individuals, a DHS background check, access to a reliable vehicle (car insurance if transporting is requested for open positions) and must complete DHS PCA certification test. We recommend applicants
