S.M.A.R.T. NEWSLETTER - February '21 DISTANCE LEARNING

Robin from Eau Claire has been adding Cross Pattern movement breaks during her distance learning sessions. She shared that she turns on the music and they follow her dance moves! Robin knows that students need to move in order to attend when she is teaching.

By incorporating Cross Pattern movements into the dances, Robin is helping her students increase the connections in their brains and helping their bodies move into and occupy the space on the other side of their body. Why is this important? These connections in the brain are needed for reading, writing, spelling and computing math.
